Wednesday’s Words of Wisdom – Meant to Be

Life doesn’t always go as planned, and that can be extremely stressful. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in what we want to happen, and we forget we can’t control every outcome. Sometimes we need to let life happen the way it’s meant to be.

Just recently, I was stressing over a school situation for Kailanie. She has just about outgrown the Early Intervention services she receives, but may not qualify for a program that would best suit her current needs. My sister dropped some words of wisdom, and politely reminded me, it will end up the way it’s meant to be.

Even more recently, those words “if it meant to be, it will be” slapped me straight in the face. A curve ball was thrown at me from nowhere. It’s not a bad situation, just one I wasn’t ready to be in at this time. Instead of dwelling on the negative, I am choosing to believe this is a part of my journey…it’s meant to be.

If it's meant to be it will be

Whether you are a believer in God’s plan, soul contracts, destiny, fate, manifestation, or anything else, it can be hard to go with the flow. When I am in a situation with unknown outcomes, I try to remember if it’s meant to be, it will be. It is our human nature to try to control life, but sometimes this can prolong the inevitable.

The next time you are facing an anxiety-ridden situation that isn’t going the way you anticipated, I hope you try to relax. Your God, higher self, soul, or whatever you believe in, has it under control. Let life happen. If it’s meant to be, it will be.
